    Minix Hangs have to remove powercord.

    Ive flashed the Beta 08 yesterday and since that my box hangs on screensave , in the middle of the movies etc etc . Its just freezez and i cant do nothing not move the pointer och turn it off by remote.

    I guess its broken =(

    If it freezes after a wile running (e.g. during movie) I don't think it is really broken...
    I don't know what you have installed (apps etc.), but from which FW do you have flashed to beta8? Maybe at frist step go back to the last version you use, to find out, if it is only a problem with the beta8...

      I came from 007 and used the zip version of 008 last time it hanged during i paused movie in minix xbmc ive hadnt installed anything that time and had no root. even tried with no keyboard connected and no external hd.

        if you have no problems at beta7, I think it's a problem with beta8 (but as I wrote, you can check it via going back to beta7) ...

          i only had finless rom 1.0 at home and its in the middle of the night but now after 30 min i dont have had any freezes

            Forgott to write but all the problems stopped when i went back to 007
