For various reasons I'm getting a non-mainstream, Chinese import tablet. I'm looking at the Pipo U2 and like that it has 1 GB DDR3 ram and I've considered this the minimum I'd want for running a 4.x tablet but is that truly the case?
I don't play games other than my son occasionally does Angry Birds. Primarily the tablet is used for reading kindle books and comic books with the occasional web browsing as well.
I'm replacing an elocity A7 which only had 512 MB ram, but ran 2.3 and I got along with it fine, has 4.x increased the requirements enough that I'll be unhappy with a 512 mb tablet?
