M8 android Box problem.

Can someone help me please..I have an M8 android Box that although it turns off after I switch it off the light remains blue. The problem is that it remains like that even if I leave it overnight. I switched On the TV to check if it turned ON by itself but it didn't.

i have the exact samw problem.

After i have turned the box off, the light at th front will keep on blinking randomly. it is extremely annoying how the light is so bright.

does anyone have any solution to this? thanks.

sadly i too have this issue with ALL the M8's i have in stock, if I try to shut it down with the remote that came with the unit. But if I use anyone of my AIRMOUSE/KEYBOARD Remotes and press the press the power button on that viola NO BLINDING BLUE TRIANGLE

Ill ask my ENY/ACEMAX reps if they can fix the unit/firmware so the supplied remote actually turns this unit off as well.

However the AIRMOUSE will not turn these units back on, I must use the supplied remote... imo thats kinda silly... one remote to turn it off and another to turn it on

Well my M8 does turn turn off and turn on with both the provided remote and also air remote.

But after turning it off, at random frequency the light in front of the box will turn itself on for few seconds and then go back off.

This continues to happen. And sometimes the unit will turn itself back completely. Extremely random.

And besides whats the deal with Netflix app? For me it stutters every 5 seconds. Does anyone else has this issue?

tbh most times i just power down by shutting off powerbar or unplugging... however this is not an ideal situation...


netflix ive never really used, but ill give it awhirl later today and report back.

what Firmware are you running? and are you using an official ENY/ACEMAX M8 or one of the clone units? if the latter it may explain the odd issues...

I have same issue but I solved problem by turning OFF XBMC then when switched to android UI screen then I push power button which blue turns off, I notice when on XBMC then just turn off blue light will stay on BUT if this doesn't solve issue then use electrical tape to block blue light, I hope this helps solve every1s problem..
