I have this Allwinner A20 BOX:
I updated it with this firmware:
http://pan.baidu.com/wap/link?uk=3559973531&shareid=2875611111&third=6
It worked for me. (IR remote, wi-fi and everything else I tested)
Note: This img enables realtek 8188eus wifi adapter. Make sure your box uses this, otherwise you won't be able to use it after the update (you can check this opening your box or typing "lsmod" on a terminal app).

I inserted a 2gb sd card (in fact a micro using an adapter) and selected the img file I wanted to burn (the one I posted above). After this, I inserted this sd card on my Android box and turned it on. It started update automatically

If your box is like this one (http://pt.aliexpress.com/store/produ...966621877.html) it's an Allwinner A20.
Fw should work, but you have to make sure It uses a RTL8188EUS Wifi card in order to use wireless networking.
EDIT: I believe you've made the procedure correctly, just in case (got from https://www.miniand.com/wiki/Mini+Xp...+PhoenixCard):
"
Create installation SD card
Important: This will erase the SD card
- Unzip the Phoenixcard archive to a folder on your PC.
- Unzip the single (imagename).img from the downloaded image to an accessible folder on your Windows system.
- Obtain a micro SD card of at least 1GB in size and connect it to your PC in some fashion. It should be accessible under a drive letter in Windows.
- Browse to the folder where you unzipped Phoenixcard and find the PhoenixCard.exe file with the green folder icon next to it. Double click to launch. The Phoenixcard software will launch.
- Using the drop down to the right of Disk select the windows drive letter that contains your Micro SD card.
- Click on the image button and browse to whereever you extracted (imagename).img to, and select the file.
- Insure Product is selected under Write Mode. Product mode will create a self booting Micro SD designed to apply a separate image to a device.
- Click on Burn. Pay attention to the status messages. Once it is complete you can eject the Micro SD from your windows system.
Use SD card to update device- Here is the easy part. Insert the Micro SD into your Mini Xplus and connect the power. When the Mini Xplus boots from MicroSD, it does not generate a video signal, so it is normal to have no video output during this process. Keep your eyes on the blue LEDs viewable from the bottom of the Mini Xplus. They will flash while the image is applied and will stop flashing when complete.
- Unplug power from your device and remove the Micro SD (or it will continue to flash the image every time you power it up). Format the MicroSD in Windows to remove the boot image before you put it back into your Mini Xplus.
- Power up your freshly imaged system. You will have to reenter your account information and such, but should be up and running."

1*ALLNNER A20 1.6GHZ CPU
2* ARM MALI400MP2 GPU
3*ANDROID™ JELLY BEAN 4.2.2 OS

Please suggest the best solution to fix the wifi problem or a Good Working ROM. I Tried the above ROM still same issue.

If you don't know the model of your wireless chip:
1) I'd try to contact the seller for an original fw first.
2) If (1) is not possible and you're out of warranty, try opening your box and locate an IC with an identifier starting with "rtl" (Most of these boxes use Realtek Wireless chips). Mine for instance is "rtl8188eus".
Note: Unless you have very good eyes, use a magnifier
3) Now you can google for a more specific fw for your box. Here's a baidu hosting file service with some fw you can try (most of his fw for A20 includes rtl8188eus:
Hope this helps somehow...

Thanks for that link for firmwares, I was able to flash one of them but it was rtl8188eus which is yours, but when i started the box I got the splash screen then the android boot logo but then it froze on me.
So i opened the box and had a look at that chip you mentioned and it turned out mine is rtl8188eTV. I was wondering if you could hep to find that firmware with allwindeer a20 chip
