MK808B V5 realtek headaches

Hello guys,

I have 10 of these new version mk808b's (realtek) with the serial number sticker on the sides... I have posted a couple times here and there to try and figure out what the best route is going on these regarding firmware but no one has really clarified to me. Before I would use lewys rom that auto hided the status bar when going into XBMC. I only care about 720p as these are simply used as devices that stream content in and around that quality.

1)What rom is the best one to use at the moment? I would prefer a non OC as I dont see the benefit of an OC

2)does it need to be a kit kat rom (i still have not a clue as to what kit kat is, I have it installed on one of the sticks and used it to hide the status bar.... is this the only benefit to it??) Is there a rom that auto hides it for these?

This really sucks because Ive programmed about 150 of the older style with no problems at all... now this new version is completely causing me giant headaches.... please link some roms and detailed instructions if possible.... thanks so much for anyones time and help...

is this the geekbuying version w/ the wifi RTL8723? I'm looking for a good ROM too as well solid xbmc, 720p is whats needed. I have great reception of wifi w/ stock rom @ 72mbps and dont want to sacrifice that.

works fantastic with his new rom.... very happy... wish the youtube app would work... im using one of the youtube alternatives app from the playstore

All I use my mk808 for is streaming local content. If something doesn't work. Please let me know. Ill try to get YouTube to work
