Recovery with ROM dump

Hi hello guys i am having a problem with my Android Phone MT6589 Device it won't power up or go to recovery mode and i cant use my romdump can anyone help me pls i badly need it i don't know what to do ive been searching all over the net.

Can anyone make me a ROM with this romdump plss thanks

All your ROM dump contains is the system image. There are many more components which must be included before we can build a complete ROM for you.

You need to find an original factory firmware. Perhaps you should contact the factory support for your phone.

When you say that you can't use your ROM dump, are you saying that you have backed up your device using MTKdroidtools but are unable to flash it back using SP Flashtools?

Here are some things to check:

Make sure you are using the USB cable that came with the phone. Generally, you have better luck with the stock USB cable.

Make sure you have the most recent version of SP Flash Tool. Some phones don't do well with older versions.

Also, make sure that you actually have all of the files listed on the SP Flash Tool in your ROM folder. If there's a missing file, it will give you an error.

It may well be a drivers issue, version of flashtools being used (there are 3 or 4) and/or the explanation given in post 5.

The forums over at http://www.chinaphonearena.com/forum/Forum-MTK-General-Tools are also a good source of information for chinese phones and they seem to keep up with all the links to the mtkdroid and sp flash tools and MTK drivers.

Remember that when flashing you will have to input/restore your IMEI numbers as they are always erased and the only tool that I know that can backup and restore them is MTKDroidtools 2.5.3

I hope someone can help me with my problem

Looking through the extracted image and comparing it to my MTK stock image for my phone, it doesn't contain secro.img, userdata.img and cache.img although I don't know if these are absolutely necessary in a stock ROM.

So far I have always used SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1328.0.183 to restore although I know that there is a newer version of it SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1344.0.212.

SP Flash Tool v5.1352.01 is one of the alternatives out there too.

So you may need to try each one.

Once you have selected your scatter file and selected the option to restore you will soon see if there are issues that the specific tools can't handle.
