    Restarting / freezing MK809II - Power OK

    Hi mates

I just bought a MK809II device, but it is suffering with a constant restarting / freezing. My first approach was the electric current. I bought a power bank, which supplies 2.1A of current, but even using the power bank and charger at the same time, the MK keeps restarting / freezing.
Then I tried to use the Finless ROM 1.7 (installed without problems) - keeps restarting / freezing.
Anyone have any clue what can be done?

PS: English is not my primary language. Please forgive any errors.

Ok. Thanks anyway. I'll do my own research.

Most likely a hardware fault, if your MK809II gets very hot before freezing / restarting then its defective.

Maybe ... Although I don't have noticed an increase in temperature.

The hypothesis of a power outage was definitely ruled out. I have adapted a computer ATX power supply with 300 Watts. The output of 5 volts has 20 A. The problem continues.

I have a suspect, but now I'm out of time for further tests.

Another hour I will do more tests.

            When does the freezing/restarting happen?

If you're rooted, you may want to check what voltages are set for the chipset. I've cured the same problem on several sticks by adjusting the juice

Hey, this sounds good! I have a couple of years (almost 25 actually ...) working with computers, but this is my first Android Stick.
Where can I find a tutorial on how to proceed? (or at least, where it is set)
I imagine I already have root access, because I installed the ROM Finless.

                Hello,

The Problem is that the MK809III have so many Clones in the last Time.
You donĀ“t know what you get as Hardware. Trust me, I making Firmware for the thing and I am getting Gray Hairs with it.
Please check your Power Supply and also change the Rom to a Neomode Custom Rom that may help.

                  Hi Neomode!

Well, my device is MK809II, not III. But, do you have a ROM for it?

I just install this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ware.cputweaks but still learning how to use them.

One thing I noted: when I use a usb cable connected to my laptop, the stick work more time before freeze.

Ok sorry I missed that. When it run on your laptop better then you have a bad psu. You need a better one.
I will look for a ROM for the mk809II

There are a couple of KitKat ROMs that may be of interest

I tried the second one on my 809II first but WiFi didn't work but the first one worked like a charm.

Sticks have different chipsets in them, so you may either have to try each or open up the stick to see what's on the board.

                      I use a 2.5 amp power supply
R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

Using the CPU Adjuster, I lowered the CPU speed to 1200. The stick run for almost 6 hours and no reboot (only powered on, no apps running). When I try open Google Chrome, the stick freeze.

Tomorrow I'll go to the doctor and hasn't time for tests. But I'll try the ROMs you suggest.
