No new compatibility zips will be posted until Monday, i was hoping to post one for the 4311 and a fix for the 701iX13 TS before then but i really need to focus on cleaning up my bases. With that being said, along with cleaning up the base files ill be cleaning up my Google Drive structure, and starting a new thread to house all them under. so keep a look out Monday 9/24/12 for the new thread, and yes for those wanting to know CM9 and AOKP compatibility ZIPS will be posted for 4311 and 701 series then too.

pmid 4311 is now the emerson em543

Biglot has replaced the 4311 with the emerson em543. All is still the same. The only difference is the
rom and boot screen. You, can install the polaroid 4311 rom or use the em543 rom.

P.S. All ways have a full charged battery before installing roms.

Nope. Still the same hardware and rom. Only a widget and boot screen are different.
I, had to go into the router settings and restart the wifi in the router. Now, it stays connected
No problems now. It also did not know how to charge its battery. Took a rom flash
At full charge to fix it. The Polaroid rom has better wallpapers.

My 4311 went back this week. I really liked it, great functionality in the package and for the price, but the resolution just isn't quite good enough to make it a keeper. I will await a model with a bump up in resolution, and probably the bump to stock Jelly Bean at the same time.

Interesting-I guess it depends on your perspective-I just bought it and am going to get a dock for it for my daughter to use as a beefed up MP3 player for christmas.

That is a great application for it; I was considering tipping my sons on it with that in mind. But I don't have enough use for a music player myself. I'll keep the money for something else down the road I'd make more use of - updated phone maybe? Higher res 7" tablet? Black Friday is coming.

I have had the white 4311 for over a month now and have not had any problems with it. I can connect to wifi at work as well as home. I find it a nifty gadget and like that it fits in my pocket.

Changing from ch. 9 to ch. 6 worked

changed my router from channel 11 to channel 6 and now it connects.

Couldn't connect At All
Changed from ch. 9 to ch.6 and haven't missed a connect in the last 24 hours.

Try changing to wpa2-psk ONLY on your router for that device-that did the trick with mine.

Hi guys!

Just bought a EM543 at big lots for $44, not bad.

This is my first android device, I know linux pretty well on desktop but not on a tablet.

I transfered some music/video on it, then after a couple of hours I installed google market, now when I plug it on my PC, I can not see anymore the "music" or "video" folder, how can I see what's on the tablet?

Bear with me this is my first android , I know the tablet is rooted, I often see people naming useful apps here and there, superuserSU, EFS explorer or things like this. What are your list of favorites/must have apps?

How can I backup all my settings/apps/etc on my PC?

Also I can flash whatever ROM like CM10 to test it, I like to tinker with electronic device
