Bear with me this is my first android , I know the tablet is rooted, I often see people naming useful apps here and there, superuserSU, EFS explorer or things like this. What are your list of favorites/must have apps?
Also I can flash whatever ROM like CM10 to test it, I like to tinker with electronic device

    Thanks!
I'll try to answer in order:

    1. Not sure why you don't see the music/video folders... as for seeing what' s on you tablet, you can get 'es file explorer' from google play (make sure you change the settings to be able to go up to root directory) and you can see everything on it.
    2. list of favorite/must have apps? Sounds like a good thread-start one! :-)
    3. For flashing 'whatever ROM'...if you mean custom ROMs, there aren't ones for the 4311 (YET-I'm working on that one after I work on one for the PMID701i 13)

There was a package for the PMID4311 (same device) to upgrade to CM10 but it was badly broken. One problem is that these tablets have a 256mb /system partition which is too small for CM10 + GApps. I was able to overcome this limitation with an unconventional workaround that works well on my 4311. I'll probably release this as a LiveSuite image after I make a few changes.

Thanks, I will wait for a more stable CM10 archive then.

I installed TotalCommander on the tablet, cannot live without it. I also enabled telnet daemon so it's easier to explore the file system from my desktop by connecting to the tablet.

PS: I need tun.ko to make VPN works, any clue? Do I have to recompile the kernel for this?

...Which is why I said there were no ROM's yet....I don't consider an 'unstable ROM' a ROM-I consider stable ROM's to be...well....working ;-)

Something strange with my tablet now... touch screen does not work anymore. VOL-/+ does nothing when the tablet is powered.

I installed the firmware update with Livesuite and flashed the tablet, same problem.

            dead?
