    MK-808B or CX-919

    Hi,

I want to buy an android stick in the range of < $60-70.

    I came across 2 options, MK-808B and CX-919.

Can these 2 be compared? Which one should I go for? Which has better community acceptance and new roms?

    Thanks.
    Regards,

808b is dual core but a work horse and well supported. For the same money I would go for a mk908ll which is quad core same design as cx919 but has a better case for effecient cooling and also is well supported here. My 2 cents.............

    Cheers,

So you recommend mk908ii over cx-919 and 808b?

      Also 808b is $41.90 while 908ii is $64.99. Is 908ii worth the extra $23?

        heres a better deal: http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Trons...-Black-318432/

well you get 2gigs of ram vs 1gig in 808b plus the quad core processor and an external antenna so yes well worth the extra $20. The rk3066 chipset is pretty old now and you won't find much support for it in the coming days. So for just speed and support I would go the extra $20

I second this opinion. If I had to start over, I'd get the MK908II and the TSM-01 Air Mouse now.

Here is the MK908II bundle on Amazon:

          Currently Inactive on Freaktab.com
          I use: MK903V | MELE F10 Deluxe | Roku 3600R
          RIP: MK808b | MK809III | PIPO M9 Pro
