When enabled all of 8 cores battery life is the same thanks to the hotplug governer but when you run the benchmark and in real life the system runs smoother and you have few more FPS when playing games
Now it's clear. So, just to be sure I've undestood well, you say that it enables 8 core still using hotplug governor. Very good. How can I do that?
Do you have a kernel ready (i think it's a matter of kernel)

[QUOTE=900supersport;226161]What do you mean by 100% insecure boot.img?[/QUO
With all respect bryan. You are great developer. But...place your firmware into android kitchen and select option 8 to see information about current rom. You will see that your boot.img is not insecure. This leads to root permission issues that many users are experiencing. With file edit and remove //root folder2SD

      Take a look here.

So, is this basically what happens when you uncheck the Power Save option under "Battery" in Stock ROM? I've already guessed this would not change the clock rate but unlock more cores. Since Antutu is on some kind of white list, the difference was never noticeable there so the benefits of this option remained a bit unclear.

I read the review a couple of days ago and I was happy when they said they still prefer our lovely cube talk 9x.

This allwinner a80 is not as good as I expected... In terms of pure power RK3288 seems to have no competitors in chinese tablets except intel with z3xxx probably, but Itel has problem with battery life too!

The best combination of power and battery life seems to be still our fantastic cube with its MTK8392 SoC
