DTS is also wrongly shown as DOLBY on my reciever with transcoding enabled.

Without transcoding enabled sound is normal stereo and my reciever does not say dolby or dts.

Did not yet test with SPMC but the with 108 the same settings both HDMI and SDIF give hissing sound only. There is strange different behavior between sound in stock xbmc and spmc!

Both default and hdmi bitstream tested with same result.

    EDIT:
SPMC now tested, transcoding enabled hissing sound both dolby and dts.
Transcoding not enabled dolby is normal stereo and dts gives hissing sound.

With stock xbmc MASHUP, DEMON88 1080p videos are not entirely smoth and that could be part of the reason why surround is not working proparly.

With xbmc get green screen when movie has played 10 minutes with some DEAMON88 (Mashup) for example Movie named Heatstroke.

With SPMC same videos runs much smother and conntinues to play after 10 minutes without problems.
    OK,thx

Yes, I checked that it fit the OTG port ok, also I had another OTG adapter that I tired, still could not get it to work.

    So, video is great
    Ethernet is great
When the audio through HDMI to A/V receiver is fixed, you will have a winner.

2.Select Setting->Sound->HDMI Bitstream, make your Receiver and TV the max volume,Play a Dolby/DTS video via Stock RKvideoplayer/xbmc ,can it sound out 5.1?

    Here is my test result:

Firstly, you should select the right option:

For spdif passthrough, select the second one..
For HDMI passthrough, select the third one..

Select all this audio passthrough options.

    Then,

If not passthrough way,no Dolby/DTS can sound out by stock rkvideoplayer

If spdif passthrough, stock rkvideoplayer cant decode DD+ sound..but with xbmc is fine..
    If HDMI passthrough,all seem fine..

Pls check it...I dont want push to OTA,just a test zip..

    Here to download->update.zip

Put the update.zip to sd card or eMMC via usb OTG..then it will find it..

    BTW,the HDMI 2.0 3180*2160 50/60Hz is also added,Talas ,pls check this.

Any way I can provide some useful data for you?
So only you cant get any sound out via AV receiver?

Pls dmesg and give it to me.

With hdmi transcoding not working proparly, dolby flashes all the time and get sound 0.1 seconds every 2 seconds. All options in soundmanager tested without succes. I get sound but it is not dolby 5.1, it is just stereo.

All 3 of you have sound via AV receiver, but no HDMI passthrough?
