Need help to make personal Wallpaper/background full screen

I set up my personal background wallpaper but it doesn not go full screen. Does anyone know how to make it go full?
Also does anyone leave the Box on 24/24? Is that Ok doing so? Reason I ask is that I am using TV remote to control the box, it works great but when the box go the sleep mode, TV lost CEC connection therefore can't wake the box up, leaving the last option is having it on 24/24
