      Play around in Minix so it will be warm, shut down. And open while it's still warm.
      Just push and wiggle the heatsink more on the pcb.

      Three things possible.

      Bad flash (I have flashed with zip file)
      Thermal issue
      Root (less plausible)

      And, only thing different. The Xbmc button, in Metro launcher opens as a menu like the other tiles. And not directly to MINIX XBMC.

          After owning an X7 and X8 I couldn't decide which one was better.Both have their faults and bugs.
          That's the nature of these devices though.
