Developers could step it up a bit in the controller department so that more games are usable on Android with a controller, but I'm satisfied with it so far, and its a pretty powerful device, One of the top ones, specs wise. I installed the finnless rom that's available for it and it runs much better than the stock os.

New ADT-1 Android Developers box
Just received my newest Android Developers box and will be testing it. It is completely different than I am used to, so it will take some time to figure it out. Here a couple of pictures of the box.
Update. I am trying to give a little information about this new box from Google, since I have been very curious about this box, but not much information available. Since it is a developers box, some of the functions are missing, but it is still a very capable device.
Here are the basic specs
Tegra 4 chipset
2GB of RAM
16GB of internal storage
2×2 MIMO dual-channel WiFi
Bluetooth 4.0
Ethernet Port
HDMI port
Android L Developer Preview
The video is quite good, it plays all video files without any dropped or skipped frames, including 4k videos. The one codec that most of these boxes struggles with is the mpeg2 TS, live TV streaming but only on HD channels. This box plays the 1080i live streams flawlessly without any skipped of dropped frames, but it struggles on 720P streams with a lot of skipped and dropped frames.
The Dolby Digital and DTS passthrough are not working on this box.
At this time, the RK3288 boxes are better.
here is a video that I made showing XBMC running on this box. Also, Silicondust created an app that runs on this developers box using their HDHomerun tuners.
Edit. Dolby digital and DTS now work via HDMI through my A/V receiver.
Also, Netflix plays in true HD with surround sound.Last edited by clarkss12; 13 September 2014, 04:26.MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

Actually, they sent me one yesterday. I emailed them in late June requesting one. I told them I am NOT a devleoper, but been trying to integrate Live TV into the android boxes. I never heard from them until it showed up on my front porch yesterday.MK818B, T428, ATV 1220, CS918S, TV01, S89H, R89, ADT-1, MK808B Plus, MINIX X8-H Plus, Tronsmart Orion R68

Moving Android TV conversion from another thread. I hope this is o.k.
There Will be Camera and Mic Support buddy as voice will be a primary for control If remote or smartphone isnt used.
Please Remember just as Android T.V wil use different chipsets there will be additions of varying features, you will see in the coming months.
As for the Mele F10 Pro it will be discontinued as its been replaced by the Delux which doesnt have the PROs issues. -Talas
Unsupported Hardware Features
TVs have a different purpose from other devices, and so they do not have hardware features that other Android-powered devices often have. For this reason, the Android system does not support the following features for a TV device:
L Developer previewCamera android.hardware.camera GPS android.hardware.location.gps Microphone android.hardware.microphone Near Field Communications (NFC) android.hardware.nfc Telephony android.hardware.telephony Touchscreen android.hardware.touchscreen
Thanks for the update on the remote, too bad the mic on the Pro remote didn't have general built-in Android support to enable use with all TV boxes and was dropped.

Perhaps you have more updated information than I. Can you provide a link to your information? The information I have is official documentation. Android TV from my understanding was to NOT allow all these varying features in short to present a standardized functionality across all boxes and tv's to create a toaster like simple device to the consumer.

I did post in other Android TV boxes about the Asus Intel Box.
