Root a M3-CHIP "NEXTbook 7 SE" on Win XP SP3

Hi all !
I got a NEXTbook 7 SE for my Birthday (gift off my parents )
But because I’m curious to, and have some programmer and IT experience in the MS-Win envoirement but Android is new for me.

The first thing I like to do is copy some mp3 and j pegs to my 8Gig SD Card but Windows XP-SP3/32 seems to be a bit brainless and will not recognize my M3-CHIP showing as the Figure below wen I boot The Tabled Holding te Both the Volume+ and the ON key :

I readed al lot of things about this Tablet after I got it, its not the Tablet I wood by but, he They listen to me and so, trying to make the best of it

The problem is, I can’t find anything that leads to root this Tablet, except when I connect it with HiSuit and the Android Demon on my Tablet. I can make back-ups and restore, see app’s who are installed ect.

When I look in de Windows device manager I see :
2 “mounted drives” both called NEXT7P12-G USB Device As you can see in the Figure below:

The drives are not exploreble because they are not realy mounted to the windows volume’s so, need to root them? YES! But it will not work like this.

By the way It’s very annoying when I boot is step #1; Because the Tablet is freezes, need to push the reset button to reboot it.

Can anyone help me PLEASE? I'm on this forum for 2 hole day's and can't find a solution,..

Well this post and thread can be archived, my tab is dead, back to the store and get my money back, seems the tab is made on a Monday, they had simulor troubles with all the tabs they sold, so was a bad buy, now looking for a other one.

For what it's worth, these aren't bad tablets, people just tend to brick them by following instructions or flashing firmware from the wrong models. Blame Nextbook for selling multiple models over the years with different hardware but similar or identical product names.

Next time ask for help and someone around here will be happy to help identify your model and point you towards the correct resources.

Thanx shaunmt for your reply, but I was not the only one.....the store seller told me, he had that week 5 tabs back cause off bad bats.

The Tab was on sale for € 49,- (from € 99,-) seems it was a old stock,...

And Yes I did Flash it, but as you can see in my gallery, the flash program failed because off some kind off power drain and loosing its USB connection as result,...even the power load LED was dead.

The store seller check this before he agrees to give me a refund.

Anyway, my son is coming today and we are going to look for a other Tab to spend my Bird day money I god from my parents,...

Any advice ? I think I'l be interested in the Lenovo IdeaPad A8-50 (59407825) its now on sale for
€ 99,- (from € 149,-)

First I've heard of that battery problem, but those Nextbook 7's are old models... been sitting around awhile... could be part of the issue...

I like Lenovo products, but I've never used a Lenovo tablet.

You might want to ask for advice in one of the general forums regarding recommendations or opinions of anything you're looking at.
