HELP!! how do you factory reset your PMID701i 10??

hi. recently a file downloaded on my tablet without my consent so i was about to delete it. but i accidentally slipped my finger and instead of holding on to the file, i tapped it (and then it installed itself). when installed, it doesnt allow me to do ANYTHING on y tablet. it says i have violated the law and i need to buy MoneyPack etc. and i know that this stuff is bs. so i want to restore my tablet to factory setting but i lost my manual and the reset button on the back doesnt get rid of my problem. plz help

Will it turn off? When rebooting, hold down the middle button when you see the Polaroid logo until it gets to the lock screen. This should put you into safe mode where you can delete the app or reset the tablet.
