Jynxbox M6 Jtag ??

can anyone help me im wondering if theres a way to Jtag a Jynbox M6.I actually got 2 dead ones.The first one I loaded Linux on it it worked fine until I reset it now it wont power on no blue light.The second one im not sure if its saveable or not but it lost video.I payed 150.00 each for these when I bought them so if I can save at least one id be happy any help would be appreciated.

I don't know any android box with JTAG (only UART)...

I was told there was a way to revive the dead M6 by plugging it in the usb on a computer with a USB to USB plug so I tried to plug it in this way then I get a blue light but the computer does not recognize it anyways I was hoping there may be some way to revive these boxes jynbox has been no help

I also read something about shorting pins or something and a special sd image but im lost any help would be appreciated to get the 2 or 1 of these working

I just took my Jynxbox M6 apart. It does appear to have a UART port inside.
There is no shorting NAND chips on this box as it has smaller SMT chips and no pins are exposed!

However with that said I have always been able to unbrick that box making the special SDcard.

1.Download below firmware and don't unzip.
update_Jynxbox_M6_20131105.img
2.Copy all files into SD/TF card root directory

factory_update_param.aml
factory_update_param.ubt
spi_MX.bin
uImage_recovery
update_spi_mx_20130805.img

4.Press and hold the upgrade button,then plug in power adapter;

5.Hold the button for about 10 seconds,then loosen it;

6.there is no any display for 2 mins,(pls don't power off) then, upgrading screen will appear;

7.After finished, the box will restart.

Thank you I really appreciate it one more thing for some reason the power adapters to both got put in a box with around 100 other power adapters does anyone have the specs on the power adapter I found 10 that plug into it but cant figure out which one is the correct one

I tried this on both boxes with no luck was really hoping id get at least 1 working.Any other ideas??

I removed the metal plate from the board with no video to expose the chips would this help in any way maybe pins I can jump etc

I have looked at this too... NO WAY to do the NAND pin short thing on this box. But like I said. The power button works in every case that I have bricked! Work on the one that worked you flashed Linux to. I am sure that box still works it's just a matter of doing the recovery right.

Only thing I can offer at this point is ship me the box and I can see what I can do with it. PM me if you want to go this route.

Interesting. I did not see this post before responding. With the metal RF plate off there is the NAND chip.
The chip just below it is just like on the Prometheus Shorting pins on that should work. Make sure you short the correct pins.

If it is the same as at rockchip you have to short 7&8 or 8&9 (it depends on the chip (I think Toshiba is 7 & 8 BUT not sure (Hynix H27UCG8T2BTR is 8&9)))...

If shorting out pins 7 & 8 don't work, try shorting out pins 8 & 9...
