    The picture is not clear enough for me to see the orientation of the small chip that is below the NAND chip.

    FYI it is not the same as rockchip. But on 2 other AML boxes I have instead of counting down from pin 1 to pins 8 and 9, you count up from the bottom left to 8&9. It actually like pins 17&18 as I recall. But the little chip connects to the proper pins so it is safer and easier to short there.

      How about this pic can you tell me by looking at this one which 2 to short.I really don't want to screw up especially the one with the Linux file as I know that one is just a bad fileor at least im guessing

        OK that chip is different than whats on the S89 or Tronsmart Prometheus. So I am unsure.

        Next try. Close up of the NAND chip showing all it's pins and part number. Hopefully we can find a spec sheet and determine the reset pins.

            OK looking at the datasheet for that which is here:

            Search and download free electronic component datasheets, including semiconductors, resistors, and capacitors. Find specifications and equivalents.


            It looks like you short 8&9. If that doesn't do it, then it is 16&17.

            Now this is just like unbricking other AML devices.
            1) You have to make the special SDcard. See the Tronsmart Prometheus instructions.
            2) with power unplugged, you will short pins 8&9 AND hold the reset button. While holding those, you will plug in power.

            Again follow the prometheus unbrick instructions.

                    that's what I went by if you notice theres 3 pins cut there from factory do I count these if so what I have marked is correct

                      Yes I saw that but yes you count all pins no matter if they are connected or not.

                        ok I tried it a couple of times no go so far I may not have the SD card done right im so used to Matricom boxes there usually easy to revive so this jynxbox really sucks
