MK808B w/ serial number on side (Realtek 8723 wifi chipset) new firmware and rom

Got a new MK808B w/ Realtek 8723 wifi chipset today. Just found on Gbuying website the recommended firmware and rom. Do i just go to that link and download from my MK808b browser? Or do I need to install from my computer onto a memory card then insert it into my stick and download? Also, what will this all do or fix? Not sure if this will downgrade my 4.2 to 4.1 for my netflix to work either?

Any help on the above and anything else to get this working the way it should and unlock its potential would be greatly appreciated. Thank u yalls!

Use prajsters rom if youre going to upgrade. Im using the stock that came on my mk808b from geekbuying a month ago and havent updated yet...

In answer to your question, you need to run the RK Batch Tool, and load the update file, then connect your stick, put it in mass storage mode, from storage in settings, click the dots on top and it will give you the option. Once there the box in the Batch Tool will turn pink, press switch, it will turn green, then press upgrade.

Like said, stock is probably okay, unless you need Netflix to work, but you'll need the Prajister (sp?) ROM for that.
