kitkat 4.4 main screen

    kitkat 4.4 main screen

    Is there any way in changing the main screen on kitkat 4.4, i want to add more shortcuts to the main screen, but it says i have reached my limit.

    I mean on the screen which looks like the windows 8 screen

    Sorry if it is in the wrong section

    With this UI you can add Apps the the bottom line of the Icons by selecting + in your apps. Can add or remove any of your listed APPS to this bottom line in the Home screen as you require.

      But it only alows so many, and also i have seen other media players with xbmc in the second box down from the left, how do i do that

        If you mean Android genuin style main screen, you can get it who use Bob's finless Rom for your TV box.

          In an earlier Win 8 style UI you could change the Home screen Icons. Now you are restricted to customising the bottom line only with Favourite APPs> Try and list more than a full bottom line at the bottom as a may add a further line. It all depends on the UI software which is attached to the box stock Firmware I believe.
