cifsmanager emtpy folder

Hi all!

i rooted my mk809III android mini pc stick just to be able to share network folders so I can watch movies and series from them (xbmc). i tried cifsmanager (and mount manager too), mounting is ok but I'm only getting emtpy folders for those network shares. what could be wrong?

If you want to watch on XBMC, just use it to share. Do not need cifs manager.

I use SPMC, which is a version of XBMC, to share videos and music from a Windows 2012 server to 3 different TV boxes using this method. Works great o both xbmc and spmc.

yeah, only later i saw i can browse shared folders from my network directly in xbmc without mapping them first. and it's working great!
i configured xbmc and everything goes smoothly. why should i try SPMC? what extra features i get on my android mini-tv pc?
