    Internal Nand Flash Benchmarks

    Hey Guys;

Can anyone run Androbench and A1 SD Bench on the internal nand flash? If you know of any other good nand benchmarks let me know. I'd like to compare to my galaxy s4 and mk808b.

Slow internal flash has caused these devices to lag in the past.

    Thanks!

    edit:

Could you post your test result about Galaxy S4 and MK808b?
Easy way to catch LOG -> Search 'Syslog' in Google Play, then install it and catch log

      My Galaxy S4 results:

      AndroBench
      Sequential Read: 78MB/s
      Sequential Write: 11MB/s
      Random Read: 13MB/s
      Random Write: 0.72MB/s

      Random Write: 0.96MB/s

I didn't bother posting the sequential for A1 since random is the more important one for OS/App speed.

Samsung always have fast nand; if RK3288 devices use nand with similar speed than I'll def buy one

I tested the M808B a while ago and I know it's a lot slower than the S4; I'll post results of it when I can get my hands on it.

        R89 result:

        AndroBench
        Sequential Read: 35.2MB/s
        Sequential Write: 10.5MB/s
        Random Read: 1937.94 IOPS(4K)
        Random Write: 71.91 IOPS(4K)

        For your result about :
        Random Read: 13MB/s
        Random Write: 0.72MB/s

I'm not sure your AndroBench version is the same with mine, but my test result have different style..

But if you have change to have an experience to R89,you'll find it fast..

And we'll find a way to improve these speed..THX.

In Andro I did the micro test; right after the test is done it shows the random read/write in MB/s. Please have a look at the attached screen shot.

Take note that results will vary greatly with the size of the eMMC. the larger devices will perform better due to parallelization, so you'll see a difference between e.g. 8GB -> 16GB. especially for writes.
