Can rooted tablet be unrooted

Reverting back to the original factory firmware will unroot your device. That's the best way.
Technically, rooting the tablet does void the warranty...but I've gotten a lot of support for my custom ROM's directly from Pipo and Geekbuying.com....so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't mind receiving a device with one of my ROM's installed.
On the safe side, it's a good idea to flash the stock ROM if you have a problem, anyway...just to see if there isn't a problem with the custom ROM you are running. If it solves the problem, you save yourself the hassle of having to send the tablet back.Randy

If you have a stock ROM or a backup of your original then you can flash back to any device really.
Rooting or replacement of anon factory ROM does technically invalidate warranty but I think that in general, if you have a hardware problem that cannot be associated with any ROM change then you should be OK.
After all, as soon as you install apps, you are essentially changing the stock configuration.
Experimenting with overclocking would be the one thing to be careful with.R-TV BOX S10, Beebox N3150, Chuwi Hibox, Nvidia Shield, A95X Max

Since you aren't specific about which tablet you have, or which RileyROM you are running...there are some considerations about flashing to stock firmware.
If you are running a KitKat RileyROM, you need to flash the KitKat stock ROM. It doesn't necessarily need to be the same KK version that matches the RileyROM...but DO NOT just flash a Jellybean stock firmware...you will brick your tablet.
Just something to think about.Randy

I just got the latest PIPO P1 Tablet with Rockchip about a week ago that has the 4.4.2 firmware which is KitKat. I did install PIPO latest firmware release. I haven't rooted any tablet yet but will eventually in the near future. I would only flash 4.4.2 RileyRom or later. Not many people have P1 model yet.

I typically don't comment on other ROMs. Just look at the features in first post of each ROM thread to compare the features. Once you get used to flashing, you can try them both and decide for yourself.Randy
