Converting 720p stock rom to 1080p

Hello

Can someone post the procedure to covert a stock 720p rom to 1080p?

A friend currently has an mk908iii with an odd wifi chipset, so he is extremely limited on the roms he can use.

I have found a good stock 4.4 rom, managed to flash over d33's kernel and rooted, but can't seem to find a way to set to 1080p (have tried various terminal commands but none do it).

I'm happy to extract .imgs and repack.

Thank you for your help, but using the stock kernel is not an option due to the amount of issues it has.

The kernel I am using is a 1080p kernel, it works on custom roms no problem, I believe it is somewhat rom related and something needs to change to accomedate the new resolution.

Kernel is working however, as bluetooth is currently broken and GPU has been unlocked.
