Wow, that looks almost exactly the same.

I someone ends up with one, provide me a ROM dump...and we can make a ROM for it. I have not seen anything from Pipo about an M8HD with RK3288.

Seeing what Pipo is doing with tabs like the P8, I might be inclined to think they will not go with the M8 case beyond the M8 Pro HD.

FNF, Ramos and others are breaking new ground with new case construction that is much sturdier, but much harder to get into (have to use a heat gun). I think the new Cube I am getting may be following suit.

Logic tells me that these tabs are getting better and better, and the next step is more integrated construction with thinner bezels around the screens, and also smaller and thinner cases. Pipo may be already following iFives lead with the P1 & P8.

Just speculation, mind you.

Don't worry, you will not be disappointed with the cube.
Some brands are improving much their quality and tablet stability, some others are doing not that much (as for example onda)

I can confirm that the Archos tablet does use the Pipo case...but I don't know if the innards are the same.

No, the same as above.

I just asked a reliable source, and was told that Archos is a customer of Pipo.

Details are held to non-disclosure agreements.

So, I do know that the case is a Pipo case. The picture proves that.

I don't know whether Pipo actually makes the entire tablet for Archos...your guess is as good as mine. Since Archos is a European company, and their tablets are made in China...go figure.
