New User - Now What Thread?

I recently purchased the Minix Neo X8h and have been playing around with it for a couple of weeks and am relatively happy with its performance. I have had a few issues with random resetting while trying to run certain apps and video within XBMC, which has lead me to this forum. I have read a number of the post about the fineless rom, the lifehacker XBMC version, the Fineless tweak etc. and I have to admit I am more than a little confused.

Can someone with some experience with this box recommend a "BEST OPTION" or "BEST SETUP"

Which rom (BETA 008 or Finless or stock) with what version of XBMC etc

I will sit on the fence (best) with this one a lot will depend on how many times you feel like modding the device or stick with one and work thru the settings. All Rom's you mentioned have there good points as you may have read and support.
Not much help but give it a go

I am using Houdin24 Fixbox theme... Which is awesome as well. I am having minor issues with the reboot especially when trying to open live streams in xbmc. Really annoying.

I was was looking for advice as to which firmware and kernel version work best.

I am looking for some clarification....If I do the following will this work or is this correct... does it make any sense?

1. Update from the stock FW to the Beta 002/008 uploaded by finless on 08/08
2. Then apply the finless 1.0 Rom CPU fix
3. Apply the Finless Beta Tweaker...

Does this make any sense I am feeling a little confused by all the various posts within these threads?

My advice would be to flash the Finless 1.0 ROM and then install minix xbmc 13.3. So far this has been the most stable for me running xbmc. Havent needed to apply the cpu fix. PS: have tried the option you mentioned ( and more !) but still had occasional reboots using xbmc
