Removal of Chinese Apps..

Shortly after I received the TAB I noticed there's a Chineese based program that can't be removed/uninstalled, which seems to be tied somehow to the TAB's OS. I haven't used the TAB for months, but I developed a suspicion when I did play with it, that it tracks what I'm doing and transmits it to its manufacturer. By the way, its Wifi capabilities pretty much suck, and it doesn't connect unless it is in very close proximity to to signal source. I typically had to be in the room the router is to establish a connection. Once connected, I was able to take it to an adjacent room, but not farther than that. It kept loosing the connection at every attempt I made to use it elsewhere in the house.

For the above reasons and others, I was looking into the possibility of removing its OEM OS and installing a generic one. But I've never installed an Android OS and didn't have the time and enough motivation to overcome this inability and lack of experience; and, as had already mention in a previous post, I've been in the need of someone to sort of hold my hand and walk me through what I need to do to accomplish it.

Bro, aside from having a custom rom you may take off those apps without porting other roms on it.. Are you familiar with Root Access? If you can root your tab you may install apps like Link2SD then you may convert system apps into User apps then you can uninstall them and voila! Even you after a factory reset those apps will be gone already.. ^_^
