    Best firmware for my M8

Hello. This is my first post here and I'd like to say a quick hello.
I have a question. What is the best firmware for my new 2GB/8GB M8, I take it that stock rom isn't the best so I'm looking for recommendations for alternatives and the reasons why.

    I got my M8 from here http://www.geekbuying.com/item/CM8-A...ck-332036.html

I use stock. No problems so far. With other firmwares I had some ramdom reboots or bad performance in gaming.

all depends on preference really , 1.7 finny, LF, stane, stane linux choose your flavour and test it doesn't cost anything and post your own individual results

I'm just worried about bricking my box with the wrong ROM. Money is tight and I can't afford to replace it.

Thanks for that. I'll open it up and compare. Hope I've got a real one.

I would also like to compare a few other firmwares but would like to return to my original shipped firmware if I needed to do so.

How can I create a back up image and restore if needed ?

                or
Go to manufactures website and find the stock firmware.

You can find firmware build detail in settings/about device
