M6 Pro Camera Can't Connect

Hello

I have a M6 Pro - when clicking on any camera app, a message appears on the screen "Can't connect to the Camera"


Any ideas?

I have the latest Riley 1.82 rom, with the 1704H very low V1 gp u600 ddr768 kernel

I'm on RR 1.8 on my m6pro and only problem with camera is with 3rd party camera apps the preview screen doesn't refresh properly but stock camera works fine. In your case it sounds more like a connection issue to the camera so could be it has a bad connection on the ribbon cable that goes to the camera so would need to be opened and have the cable reseated in it's connector.

Hello,

Well I opened up the case, and just pushed down the cable a bit. I put some electric tape over it, with a small pad of electric tape to put a little pressure on the cable when the case is closed. All works great!!
