Fact 1 - No I didn't say anything of the type. I said that it's method of implementation that may have an appearance of being modded, has not been established as fact yet.

What in the actual ****??? ...

Fact 2 - I never said that at all. Again, I repeat that at this moment in time, the facts have not been established as to how such an implementation has been made because the sources are NOT available for scrutiny in order to establish belief from fact.

How can you examine sources that are being held in secret? And how would the legitimate xbmc contributors not know what their code is capable of doing?

Do you realize with this comment you're questioning the veracity and knowledge of the xbmc contributors more than you're questioning mine?

I read through all this. I don't consider someone debating you or asking "possibilities" as trolling. Your far too sensitive or something!

If I got upset every time someone debated me, I would have to have banned myself a long time ago.

Chill sometimes, and if you don't like what someone is asking you or debates you, then just don't react! Feeding the debate that gets you upset, the other person is winning because it's your head trip and he's in your head. This is an open forum and my rules are pretty basic. No name calling and making it personal. Discussing things is not personal and certainly debating with someone is not either. Maybe look at the definition of a troll in more detail. What I see here did not fit that description to me.

Finally using ignore and telling people you have, is just fuel on the fire and in my opinion is childish. I mean really... If you can't handle some peoples comments and have to put them on ignore, then clearly they are winning and getting in your head.... I think your one of the first people here that touts using ignore in the 3 years this site has been open.

The reference to 'personalities' on this site was not about you. Like I said before, I've been cursed out and harassed on this site numerous times by cowards that would never utter a whimper in my physical presence but felt safe and secure behind a keyboard (typical internet nonsense). That all went unabridged; that was what I was referencing.

I was also never reprimanded or warned about anything over at the xbmc forums. What you linked was simply a mere word to the wise form Ned Scott regarding the fiasco surrounding the modded xbmc and the fervent discussion that centered around it.

When you call me angry and wild you're simply projecting. Not a single post of mine here [username:shomari] was ever angry or aggressive in tone towards any member.

What happened was I noticed you and members of your clique seemed to respond to me as if I was stepping on toes, sensitive ones at that. It's your house, you run it however you want, but be honest about why things play out the way they do.

I've helped plenty of users here and it was fun while it lasted. That's value that was added to your site. I've even been offered donations and both publicly and privately requested the funds go toward the site instead.

Now I'll search for an alternative. If one is not available, I might just be the one to start it myself. Never know ...

I just asked Rockchip about their new XBMC app and they told me they will open a discussion on XBMC forum to explain the codecs, video playback and give support for H265 video playback.
As easy as that.

The previous H264 hardware acceleration took over a year to work on RK3188 devices and still only work on a specialized SPMC build, not mainline that matured less than a month ago.

Anyway H265 playback is going to work much sooner than expected.

I just hope there aren't going to be more posts on the RK3288 forums to bash Rockchip or the manufacturers for XBMC for no reason, since they are trying hard to make their devices work better.

I just received an email that Rockchip will release a new XBMC based on Kodi Alpha 4 with new H264 & HEVC support after their holiday(1-7 Oct) later next week, when they do some more tests. This will solve most peoples problem since it will be newer than SPMC and include HEVC support and the smooth H264 playback that SPMC has. It will then probably make it's way into their SDK and released in new firmware from the manufacturers. Most XBMC developers still don't have RK3288 devices, so that is also holding it back. It also seems Koying will start work on HEVC support for Rockchip according to the git pull request for HEVC.

If I get the link for the new XBMC before anyone else, I'll upload it.

Just hope they will give their support, it's too early to tell, since there is still a holiday in China.
At least they are willing to listen to users request and are working on a new XBMC after I emailed them.
If the source code will be released is a different matter, but for most people they only want good video playback in XBMC. The source code might get included in the Firefly repo if Rockchip doesn't just provide the compiled app to manufacturers and show their changes like the basic HEVC that was added in the SDK.

I am new to this android boxes ! (owner of appletv2) and was in search to buy a new android box this time as you can do more with it, and can you tell me that any box that have: Rk3288 Will work fine when it comes to XBMC to play HD videos? as i heard that some of the XBMC stuff have problems with video acceleration!

Trying to figure out what box should i get! i also have 3 more family members that want to get one, just wanted not to rush in and then to have problems.

Off Topic, You guys know if and when is going to come out the " new Google ADT-1" will that be better? there is no release date on that yet...
