Question for Mr. shaunmt about Next7P12-8G

firstly, i wanna thank Mr.shaunmt for his help to re-life my tablet Nextbook , model no. next7p12-8G , with serial start with YF0813, by using the ROM below

but I have now a question

The internal memory speciallized for installing APK applications is 400MB only , it is not sufficient, i wanna increase it ( my old ROM was 900MB) so can i expand it to 1G ? or near?

Bad news... This is an Amlogic based device and the partition sizes are hard coded in the kernel. They can't be changed as easily as they can on a Rockchip based device.

Changing them would require building a new custom kernel with the desired sizes changed in the source code.

I don't have kernel source code available for this specific device, nor do I know enough about kernel develpment to port source code from a similar device...

Only some apps can be moved to sdcard. It depends on the app and how the app developer designed it.

Android settings -> Applications can be used to move apps.

Android only supports apps on the primary sdcard, which in this case is the internal one. Android does not support apps on a secondary sd card, which in this case is the external one.

It might be possible to swap the internal and external sd card mount points. There are apps that can do this in the play store, or it could be done with an init.d script, but I have not tested this...
