    Need direction...need ROM RK3188 818

Hello. This is my 1st post.
I have been searching for the ROM to get my android tv box working again. I've been getting 1/2 of tv screen black and right side with thick lines...
My other android box freezes on the startup screen. Can see the droid then a picture like on the web site that I purchased boxes from:
Android TV is Google’s operating system for smart TVs and streaming devices. Android TV makes it easier for people to watch, play, and do everything they love on their TV.

    Specs: KitKat 4.2.2
    2GB ram
    quad core Cortex A9 Processor
    CPU 28nm RK3188 1.8GHz
    GPU: quad core Mali-400 MP4, 533MHz
    Toshiba DDR3 2GB at 1333MHz
    WLAN 2.4 AP6210
The link above goes to the site and BUY NOW goes to the SPECS

Seems to have a hick up or something.
Here's what I've been searching for now.....3 days
    ROM Loader - I have v1.35 and v1.37
    RK3188 ROM (Loader.bin file) for the CX-818

I'm new to this language. I use to script html. This is a new animal that I'm trying to learn.
Any positive assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Respectfully....

AndroidTV has sold a few different models with those specs. Got a picture of the exact unit you have. FYI I am sure there is a ROM here as I have made a couple myself for AndroidTV.

        OK that is basically a CX921b (b=Bluetooth).

Look through this forum there are many posts and a few ROMs.

I made the ROM this ships with back in March but it is probably updated since then. Possibly they are using the wasser ROM. I don't know for sure now.
AndroidTV is usually pretty good at responding. Did you try contacting them?

I have 3 computers here and none recognize the drivers.

It's nice since I have 2 friends Android boxes that all need software flash to regain functionality.
Each has died in its own way. The blue light comes on but no matter what I do, it all stops here at the computers. I have all the tools but stuck on something.
Would it be better to wait a month for tech support to fix? He lives right down the road and I know him. He's no help so I'm stuck with 3 dead AndroidTv boxes.
              I've spent 3 days....sore buttocks....for nada.
              Thanks for ID boxes Finless.

Ok, for anyone who doesn't know....like myself....all this stuff is easy.
Just have to find the way.....so, without further ado....

Just like any Android stick or dongle, you have to press a Fn button to place into Flash mode. It finally dawned on me that I had seen that before. Bam:
Be careful, there is a Mic in there too. So press softly, feel the click, have someone plug usb into computer. I found it's easier if you plug the power-usb into the box 1st then have someone plug usb into computer while holding Fn button in with paper clip. Hold for a few seconds and the computer will see and take care of drivers blah blah. Just have the .img ready to go and flash on brothers and sisters.
