Possible to Scrape External HDD (Movie Collection) Connected to Router in XBMC

I can play my movie collection (connected to NAS Router) without a hitch in XBMC via UPnP; however, the option to scrape movie meta just isn't available.

Previously had my External HDD connected to my windows 8 pc, and I was able to scrape everything flawlessly via UPnP, but I don't want to keep my computer running 24/7 to create convenience.

Any thoughts or suggestions for a work-around?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

When you add the source in XBMC, the default scraper (where it shows this directory contains) is shown before you complete the process but movies or tv shows can be selected.

There is also an option to get more, which takes you to a list of possibilities.

Just tested it on my Kodi Alpha and it worked.

I also have all my media on a Synology NAS. Since I am always trying different ROMS on my boxes, I have to reinstall XBMC and i used different ones. I have found years ago a program that scrapes all the media and saves it to the movie or TV shows folders. Now when I add a new XBMC, I don't have to scrape all the data for my media. I just select local meta data from my NAS, saves a lot of time. If you are interested in this process, the program is called Ember Media Manager. I have tried other scrappers, this one is the best.

Here is the link for that program.

Exactly what I needed! Unfortunately, I can't resist the time-consuming temptation to choose the fanart/posters myself. Also, it appears that UPnP source option doesn't support scraping. Must not have access to meta. Anyways, I had to use an SMB\\ share. I have an AC router, and theoretically (haven't tested speeds), the Orion is AC, so no buffering issues as of yet.
