What speeds were you getting before using this adaptor and what speeds now you are using it?
Also, were did you get it? Was it expensive?

      thanks

Hey i am also getting slow ethernet speeds! my connection speed is around 13mbps getting only 2mbps on the mxiii

i bought a usb 2.0 adapter but it won't connect it keeps saying please plug in ethernet cable.

the usb device itself seems to work because it appears in settings under Ethernet devices.

i tried to trick it by plugging the ethernet first into its own port then once it said connecting i quickly switched the cable to the usb adapter,
it worked but the speed was even slower...

          Maybe i am forgetting something?

          please help.

I am running firmware 114k android 4.4.2 looks exactly like your box mine is 1G ram version.
the usb adapter is plugged into OTG port

9 outta 10 this is your problem right here... (IPTV Streams > 10 Mbps = Video/Audio Stuttering).
Short story... Basically all Amlogic Devices have a MAJOR flaw in the Code that borks the Ethernet on these Devices... A Bug that they themselves had known about since 103k4 (However long ago that was now!). So little chance anytime soon of a fix then. However in the linked Thread above, you can find out how to fix that more or less. That should then get you back to the full 100Mbs again.

Having done this myself... I can tell you that its like a day to night difference. Having a Wi-Fi ac Repeater set to use ac mode probably helps to... Though the 10/100 Ethernet will always be a the bottleneck in this setup. But, with a corrected sysctrl, you should then get the full speed of your line.
