aeon nox 5 skin help

hi we are running kodi xbmc with aeon nox 5 skin but we are unsure how to put the shortcuts to the main screen of xbmc like you can with confulence skin , or does aeon nox 5 not support this we have looked around and found some videos on custom but not about adding shortcuts to channels like icefilms etc etc etc , can someone please advise thankyou

Aeon Nox is the most customizable skin there is and it will take you a while to master, there are tons of things on the web to help you with this skin, but you will have to do a fair amount of reading up. You can certainly put shortcuts on the home screen though.

thank you for your reply may i ask how you put short cuts on the home screen ? i have searched google for 2 weeks trying to find out and asked questions on different forums , some people say you can only use a widget , so we are confused thanks

Sorry to say, that off hand I don't remember exactly, but it did take some time to figure that skin out, it has an unlimited ability to be bent to your will, but it will require you to play around with it A LOT, before you can make it do exactly what you want.

Sorry to say, that off hand I don't remember exactly, but it did take some time to figure that skin out, it has an unlimited ability to be bent to your will, but it will require you to play around with it A LOT, before you can make it do exactly what you want.

its an old post. Not sure if you figure it out already. Try adding to favorite, aeon nox support adding your favorite to your home screen button

The closest thing that you can configure like this all though its not as blocky as big as Aeon Nox 5 is the 'Rapier' skin.

I have fully customised many skins, up to the point of I want something in between Aeon Nox5 for its big bold blocky appearance all though this skin does NOT allow for customization of adding 'short cuts' as thumb nail icons to every navigation bar item i.e. Video or Programs etc but Rapier skin does, all though as I say its not as blocky of which I prefer like with Aeon Nox 5.

I may look into using Aeon Nox and Rapier and seeing what can to make a skin like this in future but would be a heck of a lot of work but hey, anything is possible.
