MK809III clone identification and compatible rom needed

I have recently bought a tv stick advertised as mk809III. I bought it from tinydeal (http://www.tinydeal.com/es/mk809iii-...h-p-92642.html).
Apart from occasional reboots it works well, but the main problem it has is the terrible sttutering of some video files. Mp4 files play well but some avi and some mkv are terrible.

I have tried nearly all the roms that i have been able to find in freaktab, jellybean and kitkat, all of them with the same result: blank screen.
Fortunately I had done a firmware backup previously so i have been able to return to stock rom every time that i have needed it. If somebody happens to need the specific stock firmware from this device, you just have to ask and i’ll uploar it.

The onley custom rom i have been able to flash, has benn neomode mk809iii 0.9 mtk rom, but it doesn’t boot with this rom kernel, it only boots if i flash the stock kernel. This way the rom works well but the sttutering problem persists.

I’ve also tried patching my kernel with vsyncomatic patch, but the same result, blank screen.

Board has got this serial gxt_d16_lp_v1.5_140630 .It has a rk3188t, and mtk wifi and bt mediatek mt6622n and mt5931sa.

I’ll attach several images of the pcb and a dsmeg file in case somebody can find out what’s wrong with this device, which rom could be compatible and as a last resource how to build a kitkat kernel from scratch to make it work in some kitkat rom.

    Thanks in advance.

    check out this thread:

I think there is also a 4.4.2 ROM in the thread.

I've tried that t rom with no luck... same resut, blank screen. In fact i haven't been able to boot with any rom. The four penguins have never appeared on my screen with any of the roms that i've tried. first i tried all the mtk roms that i found 4.2 and 4.4 and afterwards anything in this forum (at least 20 roms).
In fact Neomode-Custom-Rom-MK809III-MTK-WiFi-Version-0-9 does work, but only if I flash my stick stock kernel instead neomode's one.
So I'm starting to think that there's something different in this stick from the majority of the hardware present at the moment in this forum. I have a couple of suspicions. In one hand i haven't seen in any of the fotographs posted in this forum the following chip "samsung kmjjs000wm-b409" which is in my stick. In the other hand if you have look at the dmesg file posted in the first post there's a detail:
      Code:
      <4>[ 0.000000] DDR DEBUG: version 1.00 20131106
      <4>[ 0.000000] DDR DEBUG: LPDDR2 Device
      <4>[ 0.000000] DDR DEBUG: Bus Width=32 Col=10 Bank=8 Row=14 CS=2 Total Capability=1024MB
      <4>[ 0.000000] DDR DEBUG: init success!!! freq=300MHz
IT SAYS IT USES LPDDR2 INSTEAD DDR3 WHICH IS THE MAINSTREAM MEMORY AMONG THE DEVICES IN THIS FORUM.
I don't know for sure if this is important or not , but it's the only sinificant difference i've been able to work out.

Well, after some investigation I must say that phjanderson's rkpatchomatic tool and vsyncomatic sort of works. I had problems in setting up the correct perl version to run the script, but after doing it correctly, i have been able to patch succesfully the kernel with vsyncomatic ... but sttutering persists.
Rkpatchomatic doesn't seem to have any affect in terms of overclocking, but at least the tvsticks boots.

Mine also has the same board number "GXT_D16_LP_V1.5", but had not backed up NAND before I flashed other roms without any success. I will very appreciate if you can share the original backup image.

I bought the mine on http://www.banggood.com/MK809-III-RK...e-p-76302.html

                They said that is RK-3188 at 1.8GHz but is a fake, it's a RK3188-T at 1.4Ghz.

My PCB is "GXT_D16_LP_V1.6" but is the same like you. The harware it's the same (RK3188-T and MTK chips)
I backup my stock rom but i do anything wrong because its start but eternity stuck on four color circles.

I use the rom linked by "lmmf12" but its JB and my wireless mouse is very slow...on 4.4 stock rom its ok.
The rom 4.4 linked by "lmmf12" don't boot

                    V5_1 20140726? It's a CX919/MK809III clone.
