M8 Amlogic S802 Black Screen

Hi,

I have an M8 Amlogic S802 box which I purchased 2 weeks ago. Last night I was watching a film on mashup and after 40 min the box freezes, not even the remote was working so I had to turn it off from the plug, after a minute or so I switched it back on but nothing came up on the screen not even the mbox logo. The blue led switches on and even the no signal from the TV goes but it remain a black screen. Tried to rest the box from the AV hole but no luck. Can anyone help me out pls?

have you tried multiple hdmi cables or try using the box on another tv?

I got Exactly same issue last night. I haven't tried different HDMI cable yet. I will try tonight and see what happens.

Had same get out the Soder gun! Its most Likely the poor job attaching hdmi.
