Mpie (ALPS) I9200+ rooted, but no MTP

Got the Mpie I9200+, its nice, but has only 1gig of usable app space.. and 12gigs for the phone

So, I rooted it, BUT everytime I connect a usb cable, it always thinks its a powercable, so no MTP for debugging. so mtkdroid is out of the question. Any way to back this up, so I can get someone to mod it?

Ok, only using windows and I've used my old and new cables. I used framaroot (the last option worked, and I've checked it with a root checker, and busybox is installed) Developer options are turned on, but every time I plug in a cable, a small note comes up say "charger is linked". There are no options in settings to change usb modes. I've tried a terminal window, and tried setprop... no dice. default.prop has the line persist.sys.usb.config=mass_storage,adb and persist.service.acm.enable=0

can I use twrp to dump this?? mtkdroid tools wont pick this up... because I cant go into mtp mode.

AAARRRGGHHHH!!! Some sneeky chinese guy's doing this just to f#ck with me!

Well, it turns out the white usb cable that came with the phone is to blame for lack of data, I guess you can make a power only usb cable! Guess its my fault for not being diligent enough.

Case closed. Watch for the next thread with me asking for someone to do a quick build.
