Can you check to see if you can 'fling' from the Twitch streaming app?

    Thanks!

      I try:
the android apps on a onda V975m tablette
      and
the extension for firefox under windows 7.

On my tv , i see the Setup picture whith the QR code.

I see the wifi spot MatchStickXXX and connect my onda or PC to the key . But no setup.

Hopefully, this one one solves the previous connection problems.
Don't boot here. It is only in bootlogo "Google TV"

The cast icon doesn't show up in Twitch.

Flash again using AndroidTool v2.1. Do a lower format first.

You could also try the MK808B ROM.

the firefox addon-on tells a lot. It is communicating on port 8881. I think it sends clear text commands to that port. If i can get it to work i will make a small app to configure it. The weird thing it didn't show up in my port scan. Been busy at work so i haven't been able to spend much time on this.

I was able to install/run apps using the Firefox App Manager through ADB. Here is the official guide to set it up and here are some web apps to test. You can also edit the system settings and manage the running apps.

It looks like the main Matchstick screen is actually a webapp acting as homescreen. I think that it would be possible to convert the Matchstick ROM into a full-featured Firefox OS by installing the default homescreen app from Firefox OS and changing the homescreen app in options.

BTW there is a new RK3066-based development board featuring Firefox OS under development.

I read this "Flash again using AndroidTool v2.1" .

I use Rockchip Batch tool v1.7. Is it wrong ?

                  A+

The original MatchStick ROM came with AndroidTool v2.1 so I think it's best to use the latest version. You can download it from here.

The stock home screen from Gaia doesn't load properly but this one seems to work (you can use it to access installed apps and settings).

Don't connect to the created WiFi AP. Just open the Android MatchStick app and it will find your device.
