MK808 with Finless 2.1 freezing after turning wifi on - requires shorting pins and reflash to boot

Hello,

I have an MK808 with Finless 2.1 that freezes after turning wifi on, which then requires shorting pins on the NAND chip to get windows to detect it again so I can reflash to boot back into it.

After it freezes it goes to the finless boot screen and has some loading activity for a short while before that freezes too.

I have removed the grounding on the antennas to fix this units known WIFI issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Over the past year I`ve had about 8 or 10 mk808b that required shorting pins on the NAND chip.

Unfortunately every time each unit would stop working again, sometimes after 10min, 2 hours or a few days even 1 or 2 months, but all failed again ... eventually shorting the pins did not work anymore.

Unit is defective.
