    NEW - N101-1 Finless ROM 1.7 - CWM, Init.d (fixed)

    OK folks my 1.7 ROM is ready!
    What is 1.7 ROM? It is basically everything I did in 1.6 but applied to the new Yuandao ROM 0908 with Kernel 70.

    Special note for this version! I found a small bug in the init.d support that could cause scripts to run over and over again. This has been fixed! Special thanks to FreakTab user SOWA for pointing this out!

    The flash tool is setup to pre-select kernel #70 but like my 1.6 ROM, I have supplied all the other kernels for you to try if you like. I have also supplied a choice of 2GB or 4GB user APP space. 2GB is selected by default in the tool.
    PLEASE read the readme.txt in the ROM kit for instructions how how to use the tool and chenge the options!

      Hi

      English is not my first language, sorry for the mistakes.

      I am trying to install the ROM but i am having a problem.

      In this step :"5) Now it's time to flash. Click flash button and let it do its thing. It will take a few mintues minutes or so. When it is done the tablet will reboot on it's own."

      The tablet never boot up again. It doesnt turn on now. When I try to connect to the pc in the recovery mode(vol -&power), the pc detects the tablet but the drivers doesnt work. In the device manager appears N101-FreakTab but the drivers in the folder doesnt work anymore.

      So what can I do now?

        Hello , Bob . I have one question How i can change kernel 70 to 26 ? In romflashtool i see only 338,454,485 . Which one is 26 ? thx .

            I heard there is sound issues (lag, distortions) on kernel 70. Is it true? What's the dfference between Finless 1.6 and 1.7 really? In system.img and kernel?

              Just flashed rom and can report no such sound problems playing music,games or films :thumbup:

                            i upgraded to tuen's CFW kernel #70 and noticed that after i install about 8 apps when

                            i tap on "settings" & then "apps" it loads up slower sometimes taking about 20 secs or more

                            to load the list of apps.

                            sometimes even when i tap on "settings" it loads really slow their also. this happened with

                            the aussiepad firmware too.

                            if Finless' new CFW doesn't do that i would switch over lol.

                            if not i will go back to CFW kernel #26

                              That doesn't sound like touch screen but something hogging the system that causes the delay, sometimes if sync is running on boot you can get lag for a while than it goes
