Can't find an app that rotates screen or force portrait mode

I have an MK809III. I have several apps that do not work properly in landscape mode. I would like to rotate the screen. My stock ROM, the only working ROM, does not offer rotate screen as an option.

I cannot find any app that does that! I have tried many apps that were recommended. Including "Rotation Locker" and "Display orientator". None of them works.

My ROM is rooted. It is hard to imagine it is so difficult to rotate a screen on Android.

Have you tried Xposed framework (http://repo.xposed.info/) + App settings module? There you can set individually per app force portrait.

Thanks. I never heard of it. It looks quite complicated. Shouldn't there be an easier way to rotate screen?

Thanks. But I think none of the apps out there will work because the rotation is locked down by my ROM.

I found a workaround by using a different ROM (http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...7394-1080p-ROM). This custom ROM has an option to enable rotation. It also adds a rotation button and will force the desktop to rotate.

I noticed that the behavior of new ROM without enabling rotation and my previous ROM is different. With the new ROM, apps which need to rotate will crash/stop. With my previous ROM, apps appear to work but screen is messed up (either shifted to one side or stretched). So it is best for me to leave the rotation option enabled.
