    MX III ANDROID 4.4

    Hello everyone,

    I am trying to root my MXIII Android 4.4, Amlogic S802 Quad core tv box, but unsure as to which file to use. Can someone please steer me in the right direction. I would greatly appreciate the help as i have searched the forum but not clear which 1 to use

    Hello luke162, Evidently the memory configuration is important when modifying the MXIII. Is your MXIII the 1g or the 2g(dual-band wifi) model. Though I don't know if it is relevant to rooting or not. Still, I would exercise caution when modifying the MXIII. Good luck. -RISCy Dude

              If you have the 2GB ram version you can use every round one fw (beelink/tronsmart)...

                  Because of different wifi chips at the 1GB version, you can't use it...

                      Thank you for everyones input. How do you know if your box is already rooted? My unit is not allowing the addition of any add ons, so im assuming its not rooter
