MK808b varying ethernet speed

My MK808b is connected through its main usb port to my router.
I am using a Plugable USB 10/100 Mbps ethernet adapter model e-100.
The problem I have is variation in speed over the ethernet, note I only have ethernet enabled in android settings.
Strangely toggling wifi on off and ethernet on or off sometimes results in the speed jumping from average 15 Mb to 37 Mb the higher speed is lost once I shut down and restart, any help appreciated. My line max is 40 Mb

I can write a script to turn wifi on and off if it helps? Put it in init.d.

I haven't noticed. my internet is not that fast.

This should work. Might have to work with the order. You can test the commands in terminal emulator. If you do be sure do type "su" as your fist command.

Make sure you give execute permissions. 777 or 755.....do a "chmod 755 filename"

ifconfig eth0 down
ifconfig eth0 up

Been busy and haven't been able to test.

the app I used gave innaccurate readings my actuals are 24 Mbps wireless and 36Mbps ethernet, therefore script not needed.
