Factory_param
ROM.zip
Put the files on your SDcard then boot the device, it should go direct to recovery update screen.
The firmware is correct btw. But your issue may be the wipes aren't being done automatically?
Did you get it from post #1 of this thread? If so you could try the 109k4 build it's the newest. But as I mentioned this stock version has problem with auto wiping.
Finless has done a ROM based on 109k4 if you wanna try that instead of the stock build you can find it here. Finless also includes a read me file which contains good advice on flashing and multiple techniques.Minix Neo X7 - Wasser 1.0.4 OC'd - Kodi-helix with passthrough

See how you get on with finless 2.0 and if it gets you going again like I said before I think you keep getting a dirty flash (no auto wipe)Minix Neo X7 - Wasser 1.0.4 OC'd - Kodi-helix with passthrough

Without the Factory_param update file did you try wiping data and cache before the flash?
Maybe try a different sdcard?
Hmmmm.... puzzled
You might have to try a flash using the usb burning tool? You will need to read the first post of oman's stock firmware thread for the usb burning tool software and it needs a different file type for the flash too. This can be found at the top of post #1 in the same thread.
If you go with that option you will end up on stock fw from there try flashing custom rom again via sdcard method.Minix Neo X7 - Wasser 1.0.4 OC'd - Kodi-helix with passthrough

If I recall correctly you get a splash screen of "google tv" then the "mbox" screen after that the 5-10 min wait for things to initiate.Minix Neo X7 - Wasser 1.0.4 OC'd - Kodi-helix with passthrough

From what you write the flash seems to have been successful, it does display a message about Google speech fail or something to that effect though.
Other than the power adapter I'm not sure if your problem might be hardware related? Maybe a problem with cpu / gpu cores not firing up? Hope not though, I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!Minix Neo X7 - Wasser 1.0.4 OC'd - Kodi-helix with passthrough

Would be hard to source parts being made in China. I dont think anyone does repairs on these in Uk. Even if it does not work. I've learnt a lot about flashing roms thanks to you and all the guys who put the effort into making the tutorials, much appreciated.
Where did you buy it from? We have certain laws in the UK to protect buying from distance and various consumer rights which can be executed in such a case, don't be afraid to use them! So don't feed the dustbin with your hard earned cash!
If your problem is hardware contact the seller....
If you get no joy try oman or Beelink customer service....
The MXIII is a fairly new device to the market so I'd hope you could at least get a replacement FOC or for the postal cost.Minix Neo X7 - Wasser 1.0.4 OC'd - Kodi-helix with passthrough

Originally posted by coljoy View Posti bought from China wholesaler, only hope is i paid with Paypal so have opened a dispute seller not very helpful, said for me to return and they will share the cost of repair. my fear is send back will never see again. also the cost to send it back i'd probably have to send registered mail. as proof and by the time it reaches them the dispute case with paypal will close. think i will just escalate the case and hope Paypal fall in my favor. even better if i can get it up and running. before it started freezing and crashing i was impressed with spec and speed. then it just died on me wouldn't boot up.
