    CWM Touch Available

OK folks. I made this for the Aoson M11 as they do not have working buttons. It works well on Yaundao and should work on ALL models of Yuandao's. This is a touch version of my CWM recovery but will also work with buttons if you like.

The menu will scroll (when needed) using your finger to swipe up and down. Touching a menu item will select it. If you go into a menu and it is a LONG list, to go back you need to scroll to the bottom of the menu and select "go back"

Also just as a TIP! When selecting say backup you will have a long list of NO and then a YES. If you want to get rid of all that and just select stuff with NO CONFIRMATION of YES and NO lists, then add this to you SDcard in the clockwork folder.
On your SDCard go into the Clockwork folder. Add this as a folder (directory).
    .one_confirm

    Here is the CWM Touch:

This is a complete package with flash tool. It is all setup to ONLY flash recovery.img and misc.img. DONT mess with the setting. Just unzip this kit and run the flash tool.

FYI, I found a little bug that after first ROM flash EMMC (internal sdcard) was not formatted. This is not a big deal really and you would only see it if you tried to do a backup right after a full ROM flash and erasing of IDB. None the less it is a bug I fixed.

It's fixed and the download in the first post is now V2.

Thanks for this. Quick question, the included misc.img contains the wipe_all command, will this CWM automatically do that on reboot or ask for confirmation first?

I've just tried this on my M11 running TNTs R2 Pipo M1 4.1.1 firmware (with Aoson kernel).
When doing a backup, completed without error but the data tar was empty apart from the folder structure data/lost+found.

Should note that for whatever reason this ROM has swapped the userdata and kpanic positions. This is the MTD

        dev: size erasesize name
        mtd0: 00400000 00004000 "misc"
        mtd1: 00800000 00004000 "kernel"
        mtd2: 01000000 00004000 "boot"

and this is from the CWM log:

W:Unable to get recovery.fstab info for /datadata during fstab generation!
I thought would be by name so the position shouldn't matter, but possible it is the cause?

Yes this is probably the cause. The parameter file is KEY to the order of these and if it is different recovery.fstab in CWM must be modified. Best thing for you is to use the Parameter files from the Aoson ROM I made or edit yours to match. This should solve the issue.

Yuandao N80 Dual Engine Dual Core

              Hi Bob,
will this clockwork recovery work on my N80 Dual Engine Dual Core ? Or is there any other CWRM that works with my machine ? Or isn't CWRM possible to run on my machine from stockrom 4.1.1 ?
              Thanks.

                Ahhh here it is hiding

hmm you flash the recovery to a different offset adress in nand then christian does and no parameter file

Tried it it seems it made a Factory Reset after flash itself though with the default 4.1 Recovery

adb reboot recovery = Dead Android with red exclamation mark not booting like christian his does on this Tablet

Ok reflashed main Firmware and then did Christians CWM again it boots straight into it after flashing the 3 files, though no hardware button work

So yours seem not to work on this Hardware the question is why does it automatically recovers itself after flashing yours

Lets see what happens when i flash your recovery.img to the same adress in nand

                Yes

                CWM for Finless ROMs v5.8.3.4

Touch also works, hardware buttons the back button (158) and Power Button (116) work Menu button (59) doesn't work

                Trying

                - wipe cache partition

                Confirm wipe?

                This CAN NOT BE UNDONE

                i get

                - NO

                - NO

                - NO

                - NO

                - Yes - Format

                - NO

                - NO

                - NO

                -- Wipping cache...
                Formatting /cache...
                Cache wipe complete.

And after that i have the Android Recovery Bot as Background

                - format /cache

                - NO

                - NO

                - NO

                - Yes - Format

                - NO

                - NO

                - NO

                Formating /cache
                Done.

                outputing key codes

                - advanced

                - Key test

                Backing up seemed to work
                Restoring that Backup also

                Key: 158 (Back Button) UP
                Key: 59 (Menu Button) DOWN
                Key: 116 (Power Button) SELECT

adb reboot recovery also works now

Also getting into it via Hardware Button from Boot works (Holding Menu button while Powering up with Long press )

i would say for touch you wouldn't need all these NO NO NO NO just function->yes and back button for chancel out of the option, but executing the function right away is also a bad idea.

                so for example

                - format /cache

                -- Yes - Format

if you don't want to you push the back button (more secure then touching in this situation)

PS: It is essential that you use the parameter file of your tablet RKAndroid reads the Nand adresses from it.
