M8N Just arrived!!

Hi,
So my new M8N have just arrived. First of all, should I keep it on the firmware of factory or I change it, if so to which one? Second thing, which version of xbmc should I install? Official, Omans? Stanes?
Also, I wouldnt like to open up the box to check pcb, but it has got the sticker of M8N and mac adress on the back. I think it is genuine and there are no clones of M8N as of yet. It has also got the new remote?

I got the same one a few weeks ago and put the finless 1.8 rom on it. Happy so far.
