My intention is to try to build for as many of the 'old' Pipo tablets as I can't work out how to. I'll add drivers and configuration as people request.

I'll link each individual build project in here as I progress

        1. M8HD - here (working)
        2. M7pro - here (booting, unlocks but then problems?)
        3. M9Pro - here (building ....)
        4. M6Pro - full ROM created by Maakie here

U8 - test kernel fails to boot
This M9 pro kernel thread is mainly for KK kernel ? or also plan to release a JB kernel and OC'ed pack ? Probably there's many users like me who's loving both system. Of course building from source could take lot of time... thx for your effort and also thx to pipo to release kernel source to dev. Now i'm testing almost 40 different of jb kernel with different voltage and freq, all test are made on riley 2.7 JB rom, the best i could reach 26444 all stable. After all my jb kernel test i'll go for KK kernel test, could reach 23469 lighting fast and stable, TS is also more responsive than jb kernel and sound is very much better and louder..maybe the driver

once jb kernel test i could post all the pack with detail separate result for each kernel like 26444-14fps-RileyROM_2.7_JB.txt in each separate kernel folder. it could help to get a point of view about best config to oc at is best performance in one post and test kernel always on the same the same rom.... i know a kernel could score xxxxx on a certain rom and only yyyyy on other rom

i'll try to do my best to speed up my test to help this thread and focus only with your test kernel release to get a final version better than pipo stock if possible, i hope

        Regards

d33 I wanted to make my own Kernel, just now i disabled Selinux in Kernel_def but i have trouble with make:

          ente@Bilbo:~/android/kernel/RK3188_tablet_kernel_sources$ make
          make: arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc: Befehl nicht gefunden
          CHK include/linux/version.h
          CHK include/generated/utsrelease.h
make[1]: 'include/generated/mach-types.h' is up to date.
          CC kernel/bounds.s
          /bin/sh: 1: arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc: not found
/media/ente/ef7a5be8-5519-4ca7-8067-db7b56a75569/android/kernel/RK3188_tablet_kernel_sources/./Kbuild:35: recipe for target 'kernel/bounds.s' failed
          make[1]: *** [kernel/bounds.s] Error 127
Makefile:994: recipe for target 'prepare0' failed
          make: *** [prepare0] Error 2

Have you any tipps for me?

          I use Ubuntu 15.4 64bit

          Thanks in advance.

Raxy was it you how ASK for a selinux off kernel?

I managed to make one this morning for my m9pro, based on D33 sources and golden-guy's omni-lp sources.
It was very easy after environmentproblems were gone.

                    Hello.

                    I'm from this thread.

Is it possible to build a kernel for my tablet with inverted x axis?

Here is some info about my tablet:

                    1. Model Name - Pipo M9 Max
                    2. Screen model name - F-WGJ10162-V2 with chip GOODiX GT9271
                    3. Voltage regulator - Didn't know how it looks, but if I'm right here it is - MB-251 rev a
                    4. Wifi chipset - I'm sure on of this bluetooth, and another wifi -
i think this is bluetooth - MEDIATEK MT6622N
and this is wifi - Mediatek MT5931SA
                    5. HDMI - Didn't found it. I think it under cover, but right now I can't open it. Whatever I didn't use HDMI.
                    6. LCD - just model name - HSD101PWW2. MIPI, graphics? Mali-400 MP4, is it correct?
                    7. Sensors, hm, didn't know where they are, but here what I found
Gravity sensor: 0.2 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Compass Magnetic field sensor: 6.8 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Orientation Sensor: 13.1 mA by AOSP
Gyroscope sensor: 6.1 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Proximity sensor: 0.5 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Light sensor: 0.5 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Pressure sensor: 1.0 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Temperature sensor: 1.0 mA by The Android Open Source Project
Rotation Vector Sensor: 13.1 mA by AOSP
Gravity Sensor: 13.1 mA by AOSP
Linear Acceleration Sensor: 13.1 mA by AOSP

For now I'm using RileyRom 2.6.4 KitKat. But I can change it, if it's necessary.

                    Dmesg in attachment.

If some addittonal info required, just ask .
                    TIA.
