Virtual thermal adjustment possible?

Is it possible to adjust thermal trip points or frequencies on boxes with virtual thermal ("chip not trimmed ")? Currently they throttle in stress even when they are cold

Have you tried a older firmware build? From what I read of others experience the old 104k4 seems to run cooler? Most reports of 109k4 seem to have high temperature reports.

I'm on 108k4 wasser ROM again, it fits my needs the best. Although the temps are still on the high side but I've done some case modification so now even when I'm streaming from p2p with acestream engine I can keep the temps below 60°c which just stops the throttling.
